Creating art from my photographs is my passion, but many friends know that I also love to cook. About a year ago, I started photographing some of my favorite dishes. My plan is to compile a cook book of my favorite recipes. It is not my intention to become another Bobby Flay or Emeril Lagasse, but only to share this book with friends and family. I thought I would share one of my recipes with some of my fans. Let me know what you think…
I am an avid pizza lover and my pizza dough can take up to 2 days to make. In these recipes, I use the same techniques that are used by bakers of fantastic tasting artisan breads.
However, one day I came up with an idea for a 10 minute pizza. This recipe is very simple and fast.
Grated Whole Milk Mozzarella Cheese
Grated Asiago Cheese
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Sprinkle of Oregano
1 garlic clove minced
Olive Oil & a little butter
Layout your tortillas on a flat oven pan that has been sprayed with olive oil. I like to sauté’ my mushrooms in a little butter and garlic before placing them on the tortilla.
Spread your cheese on each tortilla. Then sprinkle the rest of your minced garlic on each one. Add your veggies or what ever else you would like to put on your pizza. Sprinkle with some oregano and pop in the oven at about 350 degrees until the cheese melts.
